VDL Mindset ES 5th in 1.50m Rotterdam

The VDL stallions and their offspring enjoyed an excellent weekend at CHIO Rotterdam. In the 1.50m class, VDL Mindset ES (Aganix du Seigneur), bred by E. Schep and ridden by Hessel Hoekstra, secured an impressive fifth place.

Hoekstra was also successful with Novacific Eickenrode, a daughter of Baltic VDL out of the Indorado mare Boracific VDL, bred by J. van der Waaij and A.E.A. van der Waaij of Kootwijkerbroek. The pair finished second in a 1.45m class.

In the Grand Prix of Rotterdam, Gangster WW, a son of Grand Slam VDL, once again delivered a top performance. Ridden by New Zealander Luke Dee, the gelding claimed an outstanding second place in the prestigious CSI5* Grand Prix. It marked another major result for Gangster WW, who had already won the Grand Prix of Kessel at the end of May. Gangster WW was bred by Wilhelm Winkeler of Germany.

There was also success in the CSI2* classes. Nacho A.N., a son of Douglas, was unbeatable under Wesley ter Harmsel, claiming victory in both the 1.30m and 1.35m classes. Nacho A.N. was bred by Mr. Lakenvelt from  Lageland.
