BEARS – Good news for our four-year-old dressage stallion Bretagne VDL (Be Sure x Secret). The talented stallion, bred by Mount St John Equestrian, has been accepted by the NRPS for the performance test. This is a significant step in his development as a stud stallion.
Bretagne VDL was already approved by the Oldenburg Stud Book in early 2025, where he impressed with his modern type, good movements and dressage potential.
The son of Be Sure is out of the mare MSJ Secretly (by Secret) and represents a particularly interesting dressage line. His granddam, MSJ Top Secret (by Totilas), competed at international Grand Prix level and had previously enjoyed success under Charlotte Dujardin.
His sire, Be Sure, has also proven himself in dressage and breeding. The Hanoverian premium stallion won the Bundeschampionat for six-year-old dressage horses under Eva Möller.
