Farrel VDL (by Cardento VDL) winst he $145.000 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup of Vancouver on Sunday. This only nine year old gelding was born here at the VDL Stud in Bears, sold at the WEF Sport Horse Action in Wellington in 2017 and is now competing with his Irish rider Daniel Coyle. This combination finished in 37.32 seconds in the jump-off, five seconds off the number two. With this victory in the 1.60m class they qualified directly for the Olympics in Tokyo 2020. They also won the 2nd place in the 1.50m class on Wednesday.
