The Indoctro-son Indogo placed with his rider Margie Engle 8th in the Grand Prix of  Rome.

In the Nations Cup, which was won by the Dutch Team, there were again good result for the Irish Team, They placed 3rd, Southwind VDL (Baloubet du Rouet x Ahorn) and Tinka's Serenade (Tinka's Boy x African Drum xx) were members of the Irish team.

A 1.45 m class was won by  Unique (Indoctro x Voltaire), ridden by Nick Skelton, they also placed 4th in a 1.45m class against the clock.

The Corland-son Varios placed 3rd with his rider Massimo Grossato in a 1.40m class against the clock.
