With a salesprice of 600.000 dollar Farrel VDL (Cardento x Stakkato) was the topseller at the WEF Sport Horse Auction in Wellington last night. The 7 years old gelding had some great sportresults until sofar, last year he placed 6th in the finals of the Worldchampionships for 6 year olds in Lanaken. Now in the auction he is sold to a Canadian renowned sports stable.
In total 16 horses got sold in the auction with an average salesprice of $ 139.800,-. VDL Stud looks back with satisfaction to the auction, some horses have been sold to major sport stables and owners so we expect certainly to hear back from them in the future.
