Last Saturday, the Nations Cup took place at Spruce Meadows; Farrel (by Cardento), ridden by Daniel Coyle, was part of the Irish team. The pair produced two strong rounds, helping the Irish team to finish in 2nd place. The Cardento son thus finished 2nd individually. On Sunday, the pair took to the arena once more, this time for the Grand Prix. On that occasion, the Cardento, bred by VDL Stud, finished in 10th place. Seventh place in the Grand Prix went to Oscar A (by Harley) and Sameh El Dahan; the Harley, bred by L. Aerts, is out of the mare Jonka-A (by Cardento).

During the Nations Cup, there was also a third place for Lyandro MDB (by Grand Slam) and Thibault Philippaerts. The Grand Slam son was bred by M. De Boer.

There was also a third place for Equine America Harwich VDL (by Arezzo) and Johan-Sebastian Gulliksen. The pair managed to ride clear on Friday and finished in third place. The son of Arezzo was bred by VDL Stud. In the same class, Gisborne VDL (by Zirocco Blue), ridden by Daniel Coyle and also bred by VDL Stud, took ninth place.

In the 2* Grand Prix, Ivory TCS (by Falaise de Muze) claimed victory with Nayel Nassar. The Falaise de Muze daughter, bred by T. & L. Collings, proved unbeatable with a time of 39.60 seconds. She was sold at the 2020 WEF Sport Horse Auction.
