Bacardi VDL son, Fremont VDL, became the best out of 26 combinations in the 1.40m class the British Horse Feeds Speedi-Beet Grade C in Birmingham.
The 1.40m course proved tricky for some, seven horses made it to the jump off. Last starter was Angie Thompson with the 9-year-old gelding Fremont VDL. She took a winning turn tot he last fence to beat the time of 35.27 seconds. The took the victory in a time of 34.66 seconds.
This was at the same time a simply sensational achievement for this combination, the biggest win of their career. Fremont VDL (by Bacardi VDL) is bred by the VDL Stud in Bears.
