VDL offspring wins small finals of the 5-yr, 6-yr and 7yrs

Yesterday, the small final of the KWPN young horse championships took place in Exloo. The day started with the seven-year-olds. Only four combinations managed to stay clear in both phases, including three VDL offspring. The victory went to Harley-daughter Liletto with Kristian Houwen. Liletto is bred by B.J. Huinre from Beltrum. Second place went also to offspring of one of the VDL's stallions, namely Las Vegas a son of Arezzo. Las Vegas is bred by Frank and Pratice Koster from Wehl and is ridden by Ester Damman - Blekkink. Fourth place went to Labella V (by Etoulon) and Zoe Potter, the Etoulon-daughter is bred by Gebr. Veldman from Elim.

In the small final of the five-year-olds, victory went to Jardonnay-daughter Neenee bij Jaja. She is ridden by Maud Wiefferink and is bred by H. Kwakkel from 's Heerenbroek. Third place went to Maud's sister Jessie Wiefferink. She rode the Comthago-daughter Noble Ami to a great third place. Noble Ami (by Comthago) is bred by J. Kramer from Emmen.

The victory in the small final of the the six-year-old went once again to VDL offspring. Myancintha-O (by Douglas) managed to be over 1 second faster than the competition and took the win with Pam Nieuwenhuis.  The Douglas daughter is bred in Vlagtwedde by W. Oosterveld. Second place went to an offspring of Carrera. Albert Nijhof became second on his horse Macho B. (by Carrera). Fourth and fifth place also went to VDL offspring. Maillorca (by Detroit VDL) with Dave Maarse bred by H. Voort from Den Ham became fourth and Mississippi (by Glasgow vh Merelsnest) with Suzanne Tepper bred by D. Manuli & J. Vrieling became fifth.
