Avenger Z caught the eye at the Zangersheide Stallion Show in September 2019 with his outstanding showjumping talents and highly interesting pedigree. This son of  Aganix du Seigneur is the half-brother to showjumping phenomenon Dominator Z ridden by Christian Ahlmann. In Lanaken, Avenger Z demonstrated his athletic ability, flexibility and top reflexes on the fence.

Sire Aganix du Seigneur  had made his 1.60m debut ridden by Jos Lansink, but an injury put an end to his sport career. The Ogano Sitte son turns out to be exceptional in breeding. Offspring such as Agana van Gerendal (Lillie Keenan), Agadance van 't Gelutt (Pieter Clemens), Oak Grove's Americana (Harm Lahde) and Akarad Hero Z (Frank Schuttert) are already jumping at international Grand Prix level. Avenger Z's grandsire Cassini I hardly needs further explanation; this world famous Holsteiner has become one of the most influential showjumping sires of all time just like the stallions Athlet Z and Lord.

Avenger Z is bred out of the international showjumping mare Cephale 2000, a mare out of the Holsteiner damline 3317; the line of Grand Prix showjumpers such as Cassino DC (Gerardo Menendez Mieres), Bali (Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann), Zapria (Bronislav Chudyba) and Carlow van de Helle (Constant Van Paesschen). In addition to Avenger Z, Cephale 2000 also produced the famous Dominator Z. Dominator Z placed 2nd during his 1.60m debut in the prestigious Paris Grand Prix and also impressed at CSI5* shows such as ‘s-Hertogenbosch, Brussels, Valkenswaard and Stuttgart.

Avenger Z himself is an extremely talented young showjumper; he shows athletic ability, light-footedness and excellent reflexes. His first foals look big, athletic and have good conformation. Avenger Z seems to have everything to follow in the footsteps of his successful half-brother.
