Madison's sire Arezzo VDL is definitely one of the up-and-coming sires in showjumping. With offspring like Marlon Zanotelli's VDL Edgar M, Edwin Smits' Farezzo and Richard Howley's Electra B, Arezzo VDL is already well-represented at CSI5* 1.60m level and it seems only a matter of time until more offspring will make it to the very highest level. Madison was bred out of a very successful Dutch damline. Dam Nalaris already produced the Grand Prix showjumper Donnalaris (Hunter Holloway) and the 1.45m showjumper Santa Caterina (Rachel Sandoz), while granddam Jolaris stood at the basis of a seemingly endless list of successful sporthorses. In addition to the 1.60m showjumpers Captain (Zuzanna Gowin) and Expert (Bart Bles), Jolaris also stood at the basis of KWPN approved stallions like Gullit HBC, Heart Touch and Kempinski. Madison is also closely related to the highly talented KWPN approved Kallmar VDL and 1.60 showjumpers such as Caramelo C (Luis Astolfi), Olona (Cassio Rivetti), Platini (1.60m, Jens Fredricson & Juan Bolanos Barrios) and Carthagena (Sebastian Adams).
